Spent most of the day (23rd june) making lots of lovely new soaps with mum & Johnny then spent a few hours (25th june) making the soaps up into sets to go with our lovely new bathtub styled soapdishes.

As some of you possibly are aware of , the cats are all special needs – but lately they have been getting worse mostly due to the heat and pollen. So i thought it was about time i make them their own website so blogging is easier and i can go into better detail as to their “status” as it were……

Well just when i was starting to lose hope with the whole site and thought that the sales fairy had abandoned me , I recieved a rather large order (for me anyway) from a lovely lady in wales. I’m unfortunately still waiting for delivery of the supplies needed to fill this order – but im confident that Royal Mail will do their part ASAP! (did i say confident??…. hmmm 23% possibility of lost order , 34% possibility of RM saying they never received the parcel which gives us a nice 43% chance of it actually turning up as its already a week late near enough!)
My2Hands and JazzDesigns have now been launched on Create. previously they were on own-made sites but we feel that there is a better response time for our customers if we use Create (we just love it here!)

<i>JazzDesigns</i> is a very special project to me [Kitty] as it was thought up as a “future plan” for myself and my childhood friend….. she sadly passed away before her 19th birthday which meant we never had the chance to make our dream a reality…… So with much thought and delay i have decided to go it alone. But in answer to [my own!] question JazzDesigns is a banner / logo / vector / design / photo editting and imagery service.
We now have over 300 items in our shop , and i still havent finished listing everything yet!
And we are now officially attending the annual Shrivenham Village Fete again this year!! This will be our 3rd year there and we are hoping to see some familiar faces.

Earrings
I have made several sub-categories for the earrings as there are over 100 different styles. We have everything from pearl to cloisonne beaded earrings and even have a selection of earrings fitted with Studs rather than fish-hooks.
Neckwear
Iv made a few changes to the neckwear category as i thought it would be easier for people to search if they were set into sub-sections.
Pendants and Full Necklaces are the main sub-categories but inside the pendants section i may do a few smaller sections depending on varied beads / materials i use.
Wristwear
Again , iv made a few changes to the category but for now i have kept it as one single area for all bracelets and hemp charms. If i start making more jewellery again (health permitting) i may make more sections for other types of bangle / bracelet etc.
Book , Games and Media
Iv decided to put all of the “2nd hand or carbooty” items under this category, but there are several sub-categories so it should still be pretty easy for you to navigate around to the items your interested in .
Video games , consoles and just about any form of game and media are in here.
Mirrors etc
This area is for all of the pieces my brother has made , handcrafted with all types of wood – the prices may be high but your getting unqiue items that i designed and he made …… most are inspired by my Wiccan roots but others are just rustic / antique design. If i had the money – id be buying all of this off of him myself! i love it!!
Soap & Bathtime
All of the items in here are either handmade soaps / bathsalts or giftbaskets , and there are a number of “loose” items such as bath scoops , empty caddy cauldrons (More info) and refill kits for your cauldrons!
Craft Supplies
In here we have some excellent items , all brand new straight from the supplier!
“Make your own Jewellery box” kits , Craft Scissors with groovy changeable heads , Heat guns for embossing and shrinkwrapping , glue guns and glittery pompoms or bags of shredded paper!

Me & Johnny had a busy day yesterday baking cakes and cookies…….. we also baked a “death by coconut” cake that was scrummy.but sadly not as fatal as the name pressumes :-p
For a teatime treat we also made our very first batch of homemade pastry with an added hint of Pepper for that extra zing. It turned out great!
Johnny was a little worried though as it was quite elasticated when he was trying to roll it out!! (The effect of chewing gum…… roll out – lift rolling pin – pastry retracts to original shape!) Although he soon got the hang of it – speed is the key so im told!
We used the pepper pastry to make delicious Chicken , Cress & Onion pies!
Im going to be added a few more items soon and hopefully you’l all like them!
Im giving the soaps / baskets etc a break for now as they didnt seem very popular and im going to try adding more “pocketmoney” items and activity kits that i’ll be packaging up myself (quite excited to be using my heat-sealers again!).
Its taken me a while to get back into the swing of things but i have decided to carry on with my website and hopefully rescue my business – I’v lowered almost all the items in the shop to £10 or less , although certain pieces cant be set lower than their marked prices (ie CraftFox Woodworks ).
I have been busy tidying up the website and have realised that many of the product pages are either partly missing information or are totally blank , also that the vast majority of my jewellery isnt even listed at all anyway! (the jewellery was the basis and reason for Craft-Kittens to become a business all those years ago!)
Itl take me a while as i do all the work alone but im estimating 3-4 days til all of the pieces are up and all have the most important parts ! (Pics and descriptions!)
